Description
Experience Milford Sound from every angle with the Milford Sound Coach Cruise Heli tour, a small-group adventure from Queenstown. This full-day tour begins with pick up from your Queenstown accommodation, where you’ll board a premium 16-seater Mercedes van for a comfortable journey into Fiordland National Park. Along the way, your local guide will share fascinating commentary and stop off at key places where you can marvel at the surrounding scenery.
Once you arrive in Milford Sound, you’ll join a 1.75 hour boat cruise to explore the length of the fiord. Aboard a small, purpose-built vessel, marvel at towering cliffs, cascading waterfalls and look out for Milford Sound's wildlife, such as dolphins, seals and the rare Fiordland crested penguin. The onboard nature guide will point you in the right direction to see marine life, as well as provide insights into the natural history and geology of this world-famous New Zealand destination.
Your small group Milford Sound tour concludes with a scenic helicopter flight back to Queenstown. - Tours are limited to 16 passengers to ensure a small-group experience and personalised service
- The journey includes multiple stops for photos, refreshments and rest breaks, with facilities available on route, at the Milford Sound terminal and on the boat
- Minimum numbers are required for the tour to operate
- If the helicopter flight back to Queenstown cannot operate due to weather, you will return by road in a premium van. A partial refund will be provided for the helicopter portion of your tour
