The Maximum Vertical 10 package includes 10 runs of heli skiing in the stunning Southern Alps of New Zealand. You will be flown to the top of the mountain in a state-of-the-art helicopter, where you will experience the thrill of skiing on some of New Zealand's best powder. The package also includes a delicious alpine picnic lunch, where you can relax and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

If you are an intermediate level skiier who is new to heli-skiing, check out the Experience 4 package, or for intermediate to advanced level skiers with heli-skiing experience, book a full day on the Classic 7 package. Prior to each ski season, all guides undergo intensive safety training to update their skills and ensure the highest level of safety for our clients. How well do I have to ski/board to go heli-skiing?
The Maximum Vertical 10 day program is specifically designed to cater to expert level skiers & snowboarders who want to push their limits on an exciting Wanaka heli skiing experience. With a fast pace suited to those with good fitness, this program allows you to focus on enjoying some of New Zealand's most pristine powder snow with those of a similar ability. The experienced Harris Mountains Heli Ski guides will ensure a safe and enjoyable journey as you explore the breathtaking terrain of the Wanaka region.

Other Information

• Ability: Expert skiers and boarders
• Pace: Fast
• Mountain weather can be unpredictable. On the morning of your trip, the Head Guide will evaluate the snow and weather information to decide if conditions are suitable for heli-skiing to operate. Harris Mountains Heliski will then ring you in the morning to confirm if the trip is going ahead.
• Minimum age is 13yrs, subject to ski ability. Children must be accompanied by an adult
• Buffet lunch provided
• Operates during winter (July - September). This can vary depending on snow conditions
• Bring your ski/board or hire equipment. If hiring gear, we can arrange for your guide to pick this up from the rental shop prior to your trip
• Bring warm clothing including windproof jacket & pants, warm gloves, sunglasses or goggles, sunscreen & camera
• It is wise to book well in advance
• Extra runs are available subject to conditions and agreement from a minimum of three clients per group
